Percy for Hilvertshof bag
Deze maand gaat de langverwachte verkoop van een wel heel erg bijzondere tas van start. Deze luxe designshopper is namelijk met veel enthousiasme ontworpen door de helaas veel te vroeg overleden Percy Irausquin. This month will mark the long awaited start for the sales of a very special bag. This luxury designshopper was designed with great enthusiasm by the too soon deceased Percy Irausquin.
Vlak voor zijn plotselinge overlijden wist hij de laatste hand te leggen aan het ontwerp van deze speciale ‘Percy for Hilvertshof’ tas. Een project waar hij zelf enorm enthousiast over was, met name vanwege het feit dat deze fraaie accessoire voor het grote publiek bereikbaar zou zijn. Right before his sudden death, he managed to put the finishing touches on the design of this special ‘Percy for Hilvertshof’ bag. A project that he himself was very excited about, namely because this lovely accessory would be available for the general public.
Helaas is de ontwerper er zelf niet meer om met gepaste trots zijn tas persoonlijk te signeren in winkelcentrum De Hilvertshof te Hilversum, zoals aanvankelijk de bedoeling was. In plaats daarvan zal de tas nu bij een vijftal winkeliers in het winkelcentrum te koop zijn, evenals via de Hilvertshof website. It is unfortunate that the designer himself can’t be present to sign his bags with well deserved pride in the Hilvertshof shopping plaza in Hilversum, as was the original intention. Instead, the bag will now be available in several stores in the shopping centre and through the Hilvertshof website.
De ‘Percy for Hilvertshof’ tas is voorzien van een flamboyante print van wervelende zijden stof in een glossy goudkleur. De satijnen, geknoopte schouderbanden geven het geheel extra flair en zorgen voor stevigheid tijdens het dragen. Last but not least is ook de binnenkant fraai afgewerkt met een zandkleurige voering, perfect aansluitend op de zwart-, goud- en bruintinten. De limited edition tas zal voor €10,- verkrijgbaar zijn. The ‘Percy for Hilvertshof’ bag is outfitted with a flamboyant swirling print of satin fabric in a glossy gold colour. The satin, buttoned shoulder straps give an extra flair to the overall look and provide sturdiness while you carry it. Last but not least, the inside is prettily finished with a sand-coloured lining, which matches perfectly with the black-, gold-, and brownshades. The limited edition bag will available for €10,- .
Daarnaast heeft Winkelcentrum De Hilvertshof besloten om met een deel van de opbrengst van deze tas op gepaste wijze een goed doel te steunen. De gezamenlijke winkeliers hebben ervoor gekozen om een aankomend, Arubaans modetalent de helpende hand te bieden bij het creëren van een collectie, namelijk de 28-jarige Gionina Engelhardt. Zij bevindt zich momenteel in de afrondende fase van haar modestudie aan het AMFI te Amsterdam. In addition, the Hilvertshof shopping centre has decided to donate a portion of the proceeds of this bag to a charity. The collective shopkeepers have decided to support an upcoming, Aruban fashion talent with the creation of a collection, namely the 28 year old Gionina Engelhardt. She is currently in the ending phase of her fashion study at the AMFI in Amsterdam.
