Aaiko komt met een zomer collectie dat nooit eerder zo divers is geweest. Ontwerpster Pauline Brakenhoff komt met drie sterke thema’s met veel army-groen en kaki daar tegenover levendige kleuren en grafische belijningen. Van een jumpsuit in slangen print, uitgewerkte trenchcoats en army style rokjes tot diverse jasjes en cardigans.
En natuurlijk de onmisbare zijden jurkjes en tuniekjes waar veel aandacht besteed is aan details als embroideries, mini pailletjes en opvallende binnen voeringen. Aaiko is coming with a summer collection that never been so divers as this one. Designer Pauline Brakenhoff is coming with three very strong themes with a lot of army-green and khaki with contrasted bright colours and graphic lines. From jumpsuit in snake print,  detailed trenchcoats and armystyle skirts till diverse jackets and cardigans. And of course the indispensable silk dresses and tunic’s with beautiful details such as embroideries, mini sequines and eye catching lining.

De gehele collectie heeft een sterk breiprogramma van linnenbreisels, geprinte breisels en breisels in combinatie met chiffon. Daarnaast komt Aaiko ook met een mooi lederen thema waaronder een jasje met driekwart mouw en een mouwloos jurkje. De diverse kleuren die de thema’s met elkaar verbinden vormen de basis van Aaiko’s ss2011 collectie. Voor de high summer komen de pastel tinten weer helemaal terug zoals adobe rose, eventide, quail en fresh yellow. The whole collection got a strong knitting programme from linen knitting, printed knitting and knitting in combination with chiffon. Aaiko also has a beautiful leather theme with a three-quarter sleeve jacket and a sleeveless dress. The diverse colours that the different themes connect with each other are the basics from Aaiko’s ss2011 collection. From high summer the pastel colours are coming back such as adobe rose, eventide, quail and fresh yellow.

Grafical: Grafische belijningen die de silhouet benadrukken, jaren 80 stijl, kleuren army-groen, grijs melange, zwart en wit. Graphic lines that emphasize the silhouette, eighties style, colours army-green, grey melange, black and white.

New Army: Army in een nieuw jasje, grafische camouflage prints en frisse army kleuren.  Fresh yellow, army-green, kobalt blauw en wit. Bijzondere stoffen als chiffon, tencel en cotton-tencel zijn gebruikt voor deze thema. It’s the new army look with graphic camouflage prints and fresh army colours. Fresh yellow,army-green, cobalt blue and white. Special fabrics such as chiffon, tencel and cotton-tencel are been used for this theme.

Safari Inspired: Jungle in the city , waar slagenprints, aardeprints, en tie-dye de boventoon voeren. Kleurgebruik een speciale focus op kaki en beige combinaties. Materiaal gebruik van deze thema is zijde, suede en cotton-tencel. Jungle in the City, snake prints, earth prints and tie-dye are the dominant tone. The colour use a special focus on khaki and beige combinations. For this theme she used silk, suede and cotton-tencel.

High Summer: Deze collectie zal later in de zomerperiode geleverd worden. Lange zwierige jurken van twisted crêpe in pasteltinten met daar tegenover kleurrijke pixel prints, met kleuren als turquoise, fuchsia, paars en geel. This collection will be deliverd later on in the summer. Long elegant dresses of twisted crêpe de Chine in pastel tones with counterpart bright pixel prints, with colours such as turquoise, fuchsia, purple and yellow.
