Fashion designer Hyun Yeu presents “RAIN” the second collection from his menswear label “ADO LES SCENTS”. The Korean designer Hyun Yeu graduated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2008. In 2009 he won the Frans Molenaar competition and started his own menswear label. With ‘ADO LES SCENTA’ the label aims at young minded men that are not afraid to stand out. De van Korea afkomstige ontwerper Hyun Yeu studeerde af aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2008.In 2009 won hij de Frans Molenaar wedstrijd en starte zijn eigen herenlabel. Het heren label “ADO LES SCENTA” richt zijn op mannen die niet bang zijn om optevallen.

‘Rain’ is a menswear collection based on having fun on a rainy day and about daring to face the rain with a smile. The main character in the collection is the coat. Classic menswear items as suits, shirts and pants are combined with youthful and playful garments, the cape, rain coat and bomber jacket. A lot of attention was paid to the development of form, fit and cut of different garments. This has resulted in beautifully tailored jackets, sharp shirts and comfortable knitwear. The collection is smartly styled with classic black and dark blue brogues by Van Bommel and leather gloves by Gloves by Pia. De collectie ‘Rain’ is gebaseerd op het plezier hebben op een regen achtige dag en de dag tegemoet te gaan met een lach. De uitganspunt van de collectie is de jas. Klassieke items als pakken, overhemden en broeken gecombineerd met jeugdige en speelse kledingstukken, de cape, regenjas en bomberjack. Er is veel aandacht besteed aan de vorm pasvorm en snit van de verschillende kledingstukken. Met als resultaat mooie vervaardigde jassen, krachtige overhemden en comfortabele breisels. De collectie is afgestyled met klassiek zwarte en donker blauwe schoenen van Van Bommel en lederen handschoenen van Gloves by Pia.

The colour pallet: dark shades of blue, grey and black and lighter colours of blue, grey. Surprising colour elements were bright orange, metallic brown, silver, blue and copper. Natural Luxury fabrics as wool, cashmere, silk and fur are combined with reflecting high tech fabrics and comfortable jerseys. Het kleuren pallet bestaat uit donkere blauw,grijs, zwart tinten en de lichtere blauw en grijs tinten. De verrassende kleur elementen waren fel oranje, metallic bruin, zilver, blauw en koper. Natuurlijke luxueze stoffen als wol, cashmere, zijde and bontgecombineerd met reflecteerdende high tech stoffen en comfortabele tricot.
