Het Britse merk Fred Perry gaat voor de Blank Canvas Spring 2010 collectie een samenwerking aan met het Amerikaanse streetwear label Stussy. Deze collectie is een perfecte kruising van twee van de meest oorspronkelijke en belangrijke streetmerken in kleding geschiedenis. The UK brand Fred Perry collaborates with US street label Stussy for the Blank Canvas Spring 2010 collection. This collection is a perfect hybrid of two of the most important and original streetwear brands in apparel history.

Vanwege de historische link tussen Fred Perry en Stussy is het niet geheel onverwachts dat de twee collaboreren. Het Fred Perry shirt was in de late 70er jaren een belangrijk kledingitem in de Amerikaanse Westcoast surf/punk/ska scene. Dezelfde scene die Shawn Stussy inspireerde in de  jaren 80 voor de ontwikkeling van de Stussy Tribe. Because of the historic link between Fred Perry and Stussy it’s not very unexpected that these two team-up. The Fred Perry shirt was an important clothing item in the American Westcoast surf/punk/ska scene in the late 70′s. The same scene that inspired Shawn Stussy in the 80′s for the development of the Stussy Tribe.

De Stussy Deluxe X Fred Perry samenwerking combineert Amerikaanse culturele referenties met de Londonse stijl van een iconisch merk en de collectie wordt in februari internationaal gelanceerd. De collectie omvat zes stijlen met basiskledingstukken zoals het klassieke Fred Perry shirt gestyled in Stussy plaid, een herwekte tennis bomber, een omlaaggeknoopt kraag shirt en een leer met plaid Varsity jack. Het kleurenpalet voor de collectie is simpel, schoon en gedempt gemengd grijs, zwart, wit en schemerig blauw. Alle kledingstukken zijn gebrandmerkt met zowel het Fred Perry Laurel als de Stussy Deluxe etiket en zal verkrijgbaar zijn in Stussy winkels. The Stussy Deluxe X Fred Perry collaboration combines American culture references with the London style of an icon brand and the collection is launched internationally in February. The collection includes six styles with key pieces such as the classic Fred Perry shirt styled in Stussy plaid, a re-worked tennis bomber, a buttoned-down collar shirt and a leather and plaid Varsity jacket with tipped collar and cuffs. The color palette for the collection is simple, clean and muted blending grey, black, white and dusk blue.  All garments are branded with both the Fred Perry Laurel and Stussy Deluxe tag and will be available in Stussy stores.
