Wilfred Genee is sportpresentator, maar nu is hij voor een keer gastredacteur voor het lifestyle magazine Talkies. Niet gek dat er een hele editie gewijdt wordt aan het WK dat deze zomer plaatsvindt. Als hoofdredacteur begeleidde Genee het team bij de interviews van de voetballers, de belangrijkste voetbalmakelaar in de branche: Rob Jansen, hun vrouwen en voetbalgerelateerde personen. Wilfred Genee is a sports presenter but now he will be guest editor for the lifestyle magazine Talkies. It’s not thát weird that there will be an entire edition dedicated to the WK (World Cup Soccer) that takes place this summer. As chief editor Genee accompanied the team with interview from soccer players, the most important soccerbroker in the branch: Rob Jansen, their wives and soccer related people.

Nu ben ik zelf niet zo’n voetbalfan, maar om interviews te lezen met voetbalvrouwen vind ik wel interessant. Zo vertelt Kim Stekelenburg (vrouw van Maarten Stekelenburg, AFC Ajax) over het voetbalwereldje, WK stress en het kersverse ouderschap van haar en Maarten. Ook is Kim Stekelenburg te bewonderen in de covershoot.Now, I’m not that much of a soccerfan, but reading interviews with the soccerwives are pretty interesting to me. Kim Stekelenburg (Maarten Stekelenburg’s – AFC Ajax – wife) tells about the soccerworld, WK stress and the fresh parenthood of her and her husband Maarten. She can also be admired in the covershoot.

Daarbij staat er ook een pittig artikel in de WK editie van Talkies over het echte verhaal achter Monique Olgers. Olgers is gescheiden van Frank Rijkaard (ex-voetballer) omdat hij vreemd ging met het kindermeisje. Also, there’s a spicy article in the Talkies WK edition about the real story behind Monique Olgers. Olgers divorced Fran Rijkaard (ex-soccerplayer) because he cheated on her with the nanny.

2 april ligt de Wk editie van Talkies in de winkel.April 2nd the Talkies WK edition will be in stores.
