Ontwerpster Vicki Kysella kwam op het idee nadat ze in een warenhuis opzoek was naar huidkleur teensokjes. Ze realiseerde zich dat de teensokjes wel erg lelijk waren en was ervan overtuigt dat ze vele mooiere exemplaren kon maken. Thuis aangekomen haalde ze haar naaimachine en kant tevoorschijn en ging aan de slag. Het resultaat was boven verwachting ze zaten niet alleen lekker ze waren ook nog eens veel leuker dan ze had gedacht. Het feit dat het kant iets te zien is, is eerder een toevoeging dan een misser. Erg sexy voor in je hoge hakken en peep toe schoenen maar ook voor in je favoriete flats. Designer Vicki Kysella come up with the idea after she payed a visit to a department store for flesh-colored toe peds. She realized that these things were really ugly and she was convinced that she could make more beautiful ones. She went home and pulled out her sewing machine and some lance. The result was beyond expectation, they were not only comfortable but they were also much cuter that she had imagined.
