Na ‘America’s next topmodel’ en ‘Project runway’ is er dan nu een nieuwe afvalrace ‘Stylista’.
‘Stylista’ is van dezelfde producent als ‘America’s Next Top Model’ en ‘Project Runway’ en is tevens een creatie van Tyra Banks.

In dit programma strijden elf modebewuste enthousiastelingen om de felbegeerde baan van fashion editor bij het bekende modetijdschrift Elle. Daarnaast krijgt de winnaar een appartement in Manhattan en een jaar lang shoppen bij H&M ter waarde van 100.000 dollar.De veeleisende Anne Slowey, fashion news director bij Elle, verwacht het uiterste van de kandidaten. De aspirant redacteuren moeten zowel een assistententaak vervullen als een opdracht op het gebied van mode. De geruchten gaan dat het een soort ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ meets ‘Ugly Betty’ in de mix met ‘Project Catwalk’ is.

In this program eleven enthusiastic conscious fashion ‘designers’ will compete for a desirable job as a fashion editor at the famous fashion magazine Elle. Aside from that the winner gets an apartment in Manhattan and a one year shopping spree at H&M valued for 100.000 dollars. The demanding Anne Slowey, fashion news director at Elle, expects the utmost from the candidates. The starting editors have to fulfill the assistant role as well as an assignment in the area of fashion. The rumors go about that it is like a mix with ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ meets ‘Ugly Betty’ in the ‘Project Catwalk’.
