Crystal begon met het ontwerpen nadat ze moeder was geworden van een tweeling en de behoefte had aan een tas die zowel praktisch als stijlvol was. Hierdoor zijn de meeste tassen uit haar collectie groot en hebben ze allerlei slimme vakjes! Crystal Haylett started making her designs when she became mother of twins and needed a bag that was practical and stylish at the same time. Therefore most bags of her collection are big and got lots of smart pockets!

Ikzelf daarintegen, heb geen kinderen, maar wil wel met de mode mee gaan! En alhoewel de grote tassen nog steeds best hip zijn, ben ik verliefd op de clutch! Het must have accessoire van deze herfst. Op de website www.handbago.com vond ik enkele schattige tasjes van Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen en Valentino. Helaas hadden deze clutches allemaal iets met elkaar gemeen. Ze kosten namelijk allemaal meer dan 1000 dollar…Me on the other hand, haven’t got any children and like to be in fashion. And all though the big leather bags are still very fashionable, I am in love with the clutch! The must have accessory for this fall. De Crissy clutch van Elly Clay is een stuk minder duur, maar wel van dezelfde kwaliteit en design.  Voor iedereen in Europa is deze tas nog eens extra interessant. Met de stand van de dollar zo laag, is het shoppen in Amerika op dit moment wel erg fijn voor je portemonnee! (Verzenden naar Frankrijk en Duitsland kost ongeveer 20-25 Euro, naar Nederland kost de verzending rond de 40-45 Euro).
De Crissy Collectie is niet alleen mijn favoriet. Het is ook een van de favorieten van de designer zelf; Crystal. De collectie is naar haar vernoemd , haar vrienden noemen haar namelijk Crissy!!
