Liu Jo, on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo No. 79, celebrated 15 years of activity with a fashion show/event characterised by and “urban glam” atmosphere which was held yesterday evening (Tuesday 11th January 2011). “Liu Jo Glam in the City”: this was the theme of the event which saw Marco and Vannis Marchi, the owners of the company based in Carpi, meeting over 500 guests including journalists, buyers and trend setters.
The guest star was one of the most elegant and talented actresses of Italian cinema: Anita Caprioli. Anita was simply charming in her black Liu Jo dress and gave the event an additional touch of Italian glamour, before returning to Rome where she presented “Immaturi” to the press, the forthcoming film with Raoul Bova.

AvantGarde, the only fashion magazine from Dutch home grown is celebrating their 30 year anniversary. To honour their 30 years existents there will be an extra thick edition available in stores December 15th. The artist Gerry The Cat will ones again show on the cover. The magazine acted as a platform for young talents from fashion and art world. The fashion directors discovered the top models Rianna ten Haken, Doutzen Kroes, Ytke Sturm, Kim Noorda and Lara Stone before their breakthrough. At the beginning of their modelling career they were on the cover of AvantGarde.
