2010 has been an interesting year in fashion for many reasons, but more specifically because it was a year of anything goes in regards to handbag design and trends.
While Celine made the square, simplistic, structured small shoulder bag popular, we also still saw a lot of studs; round, spiked and yes, even the pyramid made an appearance (can’t wait for that trend to be over), add to the list, fringed hobos and furry satchels. Gone are the days of the all encompassing “It” bag (although there are a few that stand out) as it’s been a challenge to really pinpoint the most popular trend. Growing up in a multi cultural Belgain-Moroccan family of artists the sisters Leona and Hasna Erziak always dreamed of starting their own handbag line. After styling French celebrities, decorating Raids in Marrakech, Hasna’s schooling at the Arasapel design school in Milan and their travels around the world they have realized this ambition.

Leona and Hasna unveiled their new line Lena Erziak in fall 2009. Now only in it’s third season Lena Eziak has gained recognition in InStyle, People Style Watch, Life and Style, Audry magazine, style America and Ultimate Boating and lifestyle Magazine.
