The sisters Spijkers & Spijkers opened this years Amsterdam International Fashion Week with there new new line SIS. The hall was full of people and because of the hot weather it was very sultry.

The collection is based on a folk song from 1774 “Once there was a clever girl” the girl in the song is looking for a more adventurous life, dressed like a sailor she sails along on the ship from the captain she adores. But she get discovered and punished for her deception. The principal person in this song is a strong woman.

The thirteenth edition of Amsterdam International Fashion Week is already next week. The official catwalk program starts this Wednesday 14 July till Sunday 18 July. A week full of fashion, glamour and fun! Fesjon will be attending a lot of different fashion shows for a report. A special thanks to all PR agencies for the invites!
