Roberto Cavalli has been chosen by retailer Target Australia to be part of the project «Designers for Target» for as stylish co-branding. Launched in 2007 with Stella McCartney, the project later involved American designer Zac Posen and, among the others, Australian designer Josh Goot.

According to the agreement the outcome of the cooperation with the Italian house brand is a womeswear collection for the local summer season. The collection, made of 42 pieces, captures tuscan designer’s iconic style with animal prints and beautiful embellishments, and it will showcase a variety of styles including casual daywear, glamorous party pieces, footwear and will be the first ‘Designers for Target’ collection to feature swimwear. The range, priced from $49 to $129 (sizes 8 -16) will be available in 136 stores nationally and to buy online at shop.target.com.au from 31 October 2012 until sold out.

Nicki Minaj teams up with Big Sean, Korean artists 2NE1, and designer Jeremy Scott for a new ad campaign for retro-inspired shoe and clothing line Adidas Originals.
The star-studded clip spans cities around the globe, including New York, Tokyo, and Rio de Janeiro, and features a tune called “Masquerade” that Minaj wrote for the ad.
Adidas is getting interactive with the campaign — fans can go online and “represent what they’re all about, as individuals and as part of a bigger whole — their crew.”
