Armani

Textuur is belangrijk in de cruisecollectie van Armani, waar geëxperimenteerd wordt met jacqardweefsels, tweed en leder. Hoewel het pak en de jas zoals gewoonlijk in de spotlights staan, gaat er dit seizoen bijzonder veel aandacht uit naar jurken, zowel met zachte bloemetjes als linnen.Texture is very important for the Armani cruise collection. They experimented with jacquard fabrics, tweed and leather. Although the suit and the coats are still in the spotlight, this season the  focus goes to dresses both silky flowers and linen.

Moschino Cheap & Chic

Rossella Jardini, artistiek directeur bij Moschino Cheap & Chic, liet inspereren door de jaren’50.
De collectie omvatten vrouwelijke bloemenjurkjes, driekwartlengtes en modieuse silhouetten inclusief blazer en hoed.Rosella Jardini, Artistic Director of Moschino Cheap & Chic, was inspired by the 50ties. The collection enclose feminine flowerdresses, three-quarter lenghts and dandy silhouette including a blazer and hat.

Chanel

Omdat de show bij de val van de nacht moest plaast vinden moesten de gasten twee uur wachten. Maar omdat Karl Lagerfeld kan rekenen op een trouw publiek (waaronder Carine Roitfeld en Emmanuelle Alt) kon hij hier makkelijk mee wegkomen.
De show werd geopend met een collectie dat duidelijk geinspireerd was door de marine met zeemanskraagjes en piratenstrepen. Maar ook aristocratisch wapperende kledingstukken passeerde de reveu en variaties op de klassieke Chanel jasje. Because the collection was shown by night fall the geusts had to wait two hours. Karl Lagerfeld can count on the loyalty of the  audience (including Carine Roitfeld and Emmanuelle Alt) he could get away with it.
The show began with a navy inspired collection with a navycollar and stripes. But also upper class waving garments and variations of the classic Chanel jacket where seen.

Anna Sui

Veel samenhang is er niet te vinden in de resortcollectie van Anna Sui. Het is een bonte verzameling kitscherige jurkjes met een jaren 80 uitstraling gecombineerd met stoere boots en versierde variaties op de blazer en het kostuumjasje.The Anna Sui resort collection is not cohesive what so ever. It’s a compilation of colorfull kitschy dresses with 80ties inspiration combined with cool boots and decorated blazers and a costume jacket.

Yves Saint Laurent

Stefano Pilati keert terug naar de klassiekers waar Yves Saint Laurent bekent om stond – rijke kleuren, bohémien-juwelen en invloeden van couture voeren de boventoon. We zagen zowel zijde-achtige texturen als chiffon-jurkjes, volumes aan de bovenarmen, plooibroeken met hoge taille en trenchcoats.Stefano Pilati is going back to the traditional Yves Saint Laurent look – bright colours, bohemian jewelry and couture influence dominante. We saw silky textures as in chiffon dresses, over sized upperarms, high waisted creased trousers and trench coats.

Oscar de la Renta

De show van Oscar de la Renta begint met een Franse twist: hoog getailleerde rokken met bijpassende blazers, baretten, bolerojasjes en jurkjes, dit alles gecombineerd met enkelkousjes. Pas naar het einde toe haalt hij zijn typische touch naar boven: A-lijn jurken, kaftans en elegante avondjurken.Oscar de la Renta’s show began with a French twist: high waisted skirts with blazers, beret, bolero and dresses combined with ankle stockings. At the end of the show we saw the typical de la Renta touch A-line dresses, caftan and elegant evening gowns.
