Een merk vanuit oorsprong uit LA opgericht door een echte sociality it-girl zoals we die kennen uit programma’s zoals ‘The City’. Toch heeft dit merk een echt Nederlands paspoort gekregen want sinds begin 2009 is dit merk in handen van Olcay Gulsen.
Met haar oog voor fashion en great sense of styling heeft ze dit merk als Nederlandse toch maar mooi wereldwijd op de kaart weten te zetten. Het merk wordt gedragen door celebrities zoals Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian en Hilary Duff. A brand found in L.A., by socialite Ava Rily, a real it-girl as we know them from t.v. programs like ‘The City’. Since the beginning of 2009 the brand is now fully in hands of the Dutch Olcay Gulsen and so the brand has gotten a new stamp in it’s passport. Born in L.A. raised in Amsterdam. With Olcay’s eye for fashion and great sense of styling, she has put the brand worldwide on the map. The brand has been worn by several celebs like Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Hilary Duff.

Op de AIFW-fashion show zagen wij van Fesjon al de creaties voor de summer & spring collectie van 2010 op de catwalk, en waren we niet enkel onder de indruk van de saxofonist maar ook zeker van de draagbare modieuze outfits. Dit merk is betaalbaar maar heeft toch de classy, sexy en vooral trendy uitstraling die wij als fashionista’s zoeken.At the AIFW-fashion show Fesjon already saw all the creations for the summer & spring 2010 collection at the catwalk, not only we were intriged by the saxophonist but surely also by the wearable fashionable outfits. The brand is affordable, yet still has the classy, sexy and special trendy outlook we fashionistas look for.
De 29-jarige Olcay Gulsen is een echte selfmade It-girl.
Niks geen blauw bloed of rijke (voor)ouders. Zij is geboren in Waalwijk en van origine Koerdisch. Op haar eenentwintigste startte zij haar eerste eigen bedrijf: een werving- en selectiebureau voor de mode. Later richtte zij het kledingimportbedrijf; 2Stepzahead op, waardoor zij in contact kwam met de oprichtster van Supertrash; Ava Rily. Ze besloten samen van Supertrash een groot succes te maken.
The 29-year old Olcay Gulsen is a real selfmade It-girl. No noble or rich (an)chestors. Born in Waalwijk and originally from Kurdistan. At the age of twenty-one she started her first company: a recruitment and selection agency for the fashion-industry. Following she started the clothing import company; 2Stepzahead, therefor she contacted the founder of Supertrash; Ava Rily. Together they decided to make a great success out of Supertrah.

Inmiddels is het bedrijf in volledige Nederlandse handen, en we kunnen zeggen dat het Olcay zeker niet slecht vergaat. Onlangs zagen wij haar als guest-star in Benelux’ Next Topmodel, en ze reist voor Supertrash zo’ n beetje de hele wereld over. Supertrash is aan te schaffen bij meer dan twaalfhonderd verkooppunten in maarliefst 24 landen. Supertrash is ook online te koop. Now the company is totally in Dutch hands, we can say that it goes more than well for Olcay. Recently we saw Olcay as the guest star in the tv-show Benelux’ Next Topmodel, and she travels almost the whole globe for Supertrash. Sinds kort is er ook het Supertrash magazine, waarvan de volgende issue werd gemaakt in het schattige Notting Hill in Londen, met niemand minder dan Pixie Lott (Engelse zangeres-actrice) in de hoofdrol. Natuurlijk mocht daarbij ook de leather look legging uiteraard niet ontbreken. Voor je turners, de paarse (it-kleur!) Dust (die ik nog niet ergens anders had gezien), en andere fashion-items, is Bienvenu trouwens een
hele leuke plek om te shoppen. So ladies, Be WARNED!, do not throw this trash in the trash!
