Vrouwelijkheid en allure, zo kan je de SS 2011 collectie van Monique Collignon wel noemen. Gisteren toonde zij met trots haar vrouwelijke en wearable Prét a Porter collectie genaamd MC by Monique Collignon. Naast deze collectie heeft zij ook nog een Haute Couture lijn. Yesterday Monique Collignon proudly presented her very feminim and wearable Prét a Porter collection named MC by Monique Collignon. Beside this, she has also a Haute Couture collection. The collection is inspired to reach a bigger female group. We saw a lot of different trousers, pants, trenchcoats, blouses, shirts and the little black dresses. The colors black, white, silver, nude, fuchsia and marine blue are indispensable in 2011.

De collectie is bewust voor een brede doelgroep ontworpen en het bestaat uit diverse broeken, pantalons, jasjes, blouses, shirts en niet te vergeten de little black dresses. De kleuren zwart, wit, zilver, nude, fuchsia en marineblauw zijn onmisbaar in 2011. Een van de grootste ergernissen op de catwalk is dat veel modellen de collectie niet uitstralen of dat ze simpelweg gewoon niet goed kunnen lopen. Monique daarentegen werkt met getrainde modellen die haar collectie op een juiste manier presenteren met een prachtige uitstraling. De modellen zijn afkomstig van Silk Models in Amsterdam.One of the biggest irritations on the catwalk are models without the right catwalk skills to present a fashion collection as it should be. But on the other hand Monique has got a great team models whom are trained and showing the collection as it really should be on this sort of big fashion events. They really are an example for unexperienced models. The models are from the Silk Models agency.

Monique zelf kwam aan het einde van de show op in een zwart jurkje met opmerkelijke gouden lange laarzen.Tja, ze is niet voor niets Dutch Designer of the year 2010. Monique came after the show and thanked everyone in the audience. She was wearing a little black dress and golden(almost) overknee boots. In June Monique won the Dutch Designer of the year award 2010.
