Just in time for spring, H&M is introducing its Garden Collection, which is full of floral prints-bright, bold and even subtle – all made in organic and recycled materials. “We’re listening to our customer. Every year we use 50 percent more recycled product,” including PET bottles (aka plastic soda bottles) and recycled textile waste. “We luisteren naar onze klanten. Elk jaar gebruiken we 50 procent meet recycle produkten,” inclusief plastic flessen en recycled textiel afval.

Aside from the recycled polyester, H&M’s 80-piece collection also includes eco-friendly fabrics like organic cotton, linen, and Tencel, which is produced with minimal environmental impact. Naast de recycled polyester, bevat de collectie, bestaande uit 80 stuks, ook nog eco vriendelijke stoffen als organisch katoen, linnen en tencel en allemaal geproduceerd met zo min mogelijk belasting van het milieu.

As you’d expect, the clothing itself is romantic and quite feminine. It’s styled in a ’70s, Talitha Getty kind of way — relaxed, flowing floral pieces you could imagine wearing on a yacht in the Mediterranean (or at your local pool). Zoals je zelf wel zult verwachten zijn de kledingstukken romantisch en erg vrouwelijk. En allemaal gestyled op een seventies, Talitha Getty manier, relaxt, zwieringe gebloemde kledingstukken die bijwijzen van spreken aan zou kunnen trekken op een jacht richting de Middelandse zee.

And though the prints are all floral-inspired, they are not as precious as you’d expect — there’s a real modern edge to this collection, which hits the selling floor March 25. Ondanks dat de prints geïnspireerd zijn op bloemen, is het niet wat je zou verwachten. De collectie heeft een moderne twist en zal 25 maart in de winkels liggen.
