Twee keer per jaar wordt in Amsterdam de Modefabriek gehouden; de vakbeurs waar merken hun nieuwe collecties voor aankomende winter (fall/winter 2010-2011) presenteren aan inkopers. Leuk om nieuwe merken te ontdekken en om te zien wat heren en dames ontwerpers voor ons in petto hebben.Twice a year the Modefabriek is held in Amsterdam; a professional fair where brands present their new collections for this winter (fall/winter 2010-2011) to the buyers. A nice opportunity to discover new brands and to see what the designers have in mind for us to wear next season.

Vandaag was de eerste dag van deze 2 daagse beurs en ik ben verliefd geworden op een merk dat, helaas helaas, nog niet in Nederland te koop is. Dat was dan ook de reden van hun eerste keer op deze beurs; zich laten zien aan de winkels in Nederland om verkooppunten te vinden. Today was the first day of this 2 day fair and I fell in love with a brand that, unfortunatelly, is not yet for sale in the Netherlands. This was the reason for their first time at this fair; to show themselves to the stores in Holland (and Belgium) to generate salespoints.

Franci e Marco is Italiaans, maar de fragiele, romantische prints en aparte pasvormen doen eerder Scandinavisch aan. Alleen de schoenen die de modellen onder de kleding dragen op de foto’s op de site verraden dat het om een Italiaans merk gaat Franci e Marco is Italian, but the fragile, romantic prints and unusual fits look like it is a Scandinavian brand. Only the shoes the models wear underneath the clothes give away that we are dealing with an Italian brand

Laten we hopen dat dit merk vandaag en morgen door verschillende winkels opgepikt en ingekocht gaat worden, want ik kan verklappen dat de collectie voor Fall/Winter 2010 nog beter is dan de beelden die ik hier laat zien van de Spring/Summer 2010 collectie!Let’s hope Franci e Marco will be picked up by various (web)stores today and tomorrow, because I can already tell you the collection for Fall/Winter 2010 is even better than the images I am showing here of the Spring/Summer 2010 collection!
