Fitflop has previously worked with fashion designer Anna Sui, which was a big success. So they decided to collaborate again. Fashion designer Anna Sui is known for her dreamy designs. Summer flowers, soft colors and materials is characteristic of her summer look.

In cooperation with FitFlop Anna Sui created a limited edition boot named Shakoha. The boots is only available at Ramona and Boo Shoes in Amsterdam.

The boot is not only fashionable and warm, because of the double-sided sheepskin lining, but also good for your health, because of the patent Microwobbleboard TM inner sole. You are guaranteed of a workout while you walk.

“Anna is a genius! With her revealing design she reinvented fashion. With our biomedical approach we reinvented the shoe” according to FitFlop founder Marcia Kilgore.

The limited edition Shakoha boot is available on December 15th.in two colours chocolate brown and black.

NY fashion week: Anna Sui

Anna Sui took an interest in fashion at a very young age and began clipping fashion-magazine pages to fill her famous Genius Files. These have served as an inspiration for her line throughout her career. After moving to New York, she attended Parsons School of Design.

After leaving Parsons, she worked for a variety of junior sportswear companies. During this time she began designing clothing out of her apartment which retailed at locations such as Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s. With the encouragement of friends Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista, Sui launched her first collection during a runway show in 1991.

Goodbye Fashion Week?

The credit crunch has a big influence on the fashion world. Fashion brands how already had problems most close there doors. Even the big names are keeping there money safe, they don’t spend to muts on there campaign they even cancelled the big show on the New York Fashion Week. Instead they give there private show for there clients or show there collection on the internet.
Names as Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Anna Sui, Valentino, Betsey Johnson don’t show there collection on the catwalk shows. And more will folow.

But the main question is will the credit crunch kill the Fashion Week?
