Is YSL A Copycat?

Apr. 12th 2011 by Manon Bruinekreeft (author)

Christian Louboutin is going to accuse Yves Saint Laurent because this fashion label copy the red soles just like the shoes of Louboutin. YSL is accused for € 690.000.

It’s about four different models from YSL, namely the Tribute, Tribtoo, Palais and Woodstock. The worldknown shoedesigner decided to put red soles under his shoes. Since that moment it is his trademark. During the years there were a lot of knock-offs of the shoes, but never a fashion label did the same.

Christian Louboutin S/S 2010 Freddy Flats

Feb. 16th 2010 by Gina Bijlard (former author)

Christian Louboutin has surprised the audience again, with this super cool flat lace shoe design.
With this design he tend to be close to the street fashion.

The shoe has a black leather top and silver studs distributed from the heel to the toe side of the shoe.
The soles are thin with a traditional flat heel, the tip of the shoe ends with a classic rounding
and the laces are made of premium leather laced up with five silver eyelets.
These flats are extremely tough looking, but at the same time they are also classy in a sense.
The shoe is very endearing in a certain way that is really indescribable.

The Freddy Flats are already popular in celebrity land.
Stars like Kanye West, Mika, Pharrel Wiliams have all walked with these bad ass shoes over the red carpet.

The Freddy Flats are available for 750 Euro and are also available without the studs.

These are real bad boys.
