During the New York Fashion Week in February 2011, Derek Lam will present a ready to wear collection and customers can vote for their favourites via eBay. The final collection will be available in spring 2011 on eBay.
With this collaboration eBay hopes to take a distance from there imago of only selling vintage clothes.

“Push-up Sneakers”

Nov. 1st 2010 by Amy Simpe (former Fesjon author)

I liked the name Garance Doré gave these shoes. “Push-up sneaker” sounded cool and even more important the shoes – shown in a picture on her blog - looked the part. She labelled them push up’s, because of the heals that are hidden in de heal of the shoe. Some people call them wedges, but I think the heals in the heal set them apart. Their cool, but feminine at the very same time. They’re available in various colors – black/white, yellow/white and red/white/green – and are made of real leather.

The sneakers are part of Isabel Marant’s fall 2010 collection and became very popular after Garance’s blog post. Just Google “Isabel Marant Sneaker”. A long list of blogs with the picture posted on garance’s website will appear. Lots of bloggers wondering where to buy these shoes. An easy answer would be the Isabel Marant shop. But a quick glance at here website will reveal that there are not that many shops (globally). You might – in that case – want to keep an eye on eBay. A pair in black and white were sold for ‘only’ 760 dollar yesterday evening…

Fallen angel ?

I´m a huge fan of Ebay (who isn’t, these days). The search for that perfect dress/pair of shoes or special artpiece takes a lot of time. Nowadays the economy still suffers from the crisis and that’s why it’s more interesting to buy on Ebay!
The british pound is at a very low point at the moment www.ebay.co.uk and with a little bit of investigation you can find great items for less! Last week, when the mailman brought two packages I couldn’t be happier.

The purple ruffledress I ordered fitted perfectly. The next item that brightens my day is the ‘escaped birdcage necklace’. This is the site where I ordered it and really wanted to share it with you . The owner, Nicola makes super cute jewelry! She takes vintage jewelry and uses them to make new creations. You can choose from different themes, for instance 80′s retro, Birdcages, Alice in Wonderland (for the Disneylovers). Just go, click and take a look! I’m very curious if you like it or not!
