Roberto Cavalli – New eye Candy!

Mar. 24th 2010 by Philippine Kaiser (former Fesjon reporter)

Roberto Cavalli has always an ‘eye’ for detail, especially when it comes to his signature: animal influences. The new SS10 Eyewear collection shows 19 sunglasses with some animal prints. The frames are in warm acetate colours and some are made of polished metals.  And, according to the trend this summer, the shapes are related to the fifties!

Perfect balance between the large glasses and light weighted frame. The ends of the sides are decorated with a shiny zebra-print! Model 527S $375,-

With those glasses you only need  to wear a scarve in your hair to complete the glamour fifties look! Model 508S $340,-

Colorfull Sinner!

Mar. 15th 2010 by Lotte van den Acker (former author)

The hip Dutch label Sinner has a very colorful collection of sunglasses for us this summer. Just like every other Sinner collection this one is very large, so there are many different colors and models to choose for your own style. Cool and sporty, but also ultra fashionable models, big frame’s and vintage glasses in classic, but especially bold colors like freshgreen, purple and sorbetpink.

The Sinner glasses offer 100% UV protection (we like) and are very affordable (we love). You also get a two year warranty without extra costs for theft, loss or damage on all sunglasses if you register your Sinner glasses on the website!

Sinner Eyewear is available the better sport stores, warehouses, independent optician, the Sinner Brandstore in Amsterdam and on www.sinner.eu.

Replay eyes – Spring/Summer 2010

Jan. 20th 2010 by Maaike Staal (former Fesjon stylist)

The Replay eyes collection for upcoming season consists of a strong combination of craftmanship and innovation. Retro models such as the classic aviator are made of acetate instead of the usual metal which gives an unusual twist.

The mensline contains ten shapes with a vintage look. Besides the aviator there are also rectangular models with a double nosebridge.

For the ladies there are 3 shapes, all executed in acetate. The lining is more feminine than their antithesis from the mensline, but remain tough and cool.

Besides these shapes there also is a unisex model: a variation on the classic aviator, silver coloured with a distinct yellow detail.
Slightly different but still very wearable these glasses are real eye-catchers; let the sun shine!
