Fesjon welcomes Ashley

Mar. 6th 2010 by Mariana Davelaar (editor)

Dear Fesjon readers,

This is me: Ashley, 22 years old from Zealand and now living for 4 years in Bloemendaal. Fashion is my passion and I would love to do styling.

That is the reason I’m studying fashion styling at the styling academic Artemis in Amsterdam. I want to explore all aspects of the fashion industry and want to share the things I come across, stand out and intrigue. I will hit the streets and search for new trends to write about.

Enjoy!

Ashley

Feb. 9th 2010 by Majdeline Abbou (reporter)

Only one day left for Jackie’s Best Dressed Award 2010. Jackie, the Dutch Fashion Magazine, will award the Best Dressed Award for the second time on Wednesday, February 10th.

One of the nominees like Lieke van Lexmond, Candy Dulfer, Leontine Borsato, Doutzen Kroes, Maximá en Christina Curry will receive the award for Best Dressed Woman 2010. Last years award went to Sylvie van der Vaart.

Sylvie offered her expertise this year for operating in the jurypanel with Bastiaan van Schaik, Danie Bles en Jackie’s own fashion director Renu Kashyap. They already made a decision for choosing the winner of 25 nominees from the Best Dressed List.

The award will be awarded during this big and very fashionable event in Hotel Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand. Beside a crowdy red carpet outside there will be a big catwalkshow of Karen Millen, a (big) British fashionbrand.

This all promises a lot and Fesjon will also attend this event for a report. Don’t miss it!

Jan. 10th 2010 by Mariana Davelaar (editor)

heelsThere is nothing wrong with pampering your feet ones in a while an I’m not only talk about a special pedicure but also lingerie.

Yes you heard me lingerie…

Designer Vicki Kysella come up with the idea after she payed a visit to a department store for flesh-colored toe peds. She realized that these things were really ugly and she was convinced that she could make more beautiful ones. She went home and pulled out her sewing machine and some lance. The result was beyond expectation, they were not only comfortable but they were also much cuter that she had imagined. The fact that they peeking out from your shoes is rather an asset than a failure. Very sexy for in high heels, peep toe shoes and your favorite flats.peep toe

You will give your outfits the finishing touch that it needs with “Voet lingerie for your toes“. So ladies give your feet up coming summer the extra attention it need.
