From Friday 27th till Sunday 29th of August there is the Summer edition of the Millionaire fair. Every year the Summer Fair is taking place in “Huis ter Duin” a Hotel in Noordwijk with an ocean view. All the hot and happening in Millionaire world are attending the fair. And so were we

There were stands with high-end fashion and lifestyle products, from cars, jewelry, till luxury trips and villa’s at Bonaire. We were looking for something fashionable and attend the fashion show of Janice… Janice showed two collections in one. We had our thoughts about the show, styling, models and the music. In a remarkable way, designer Janice (known from the tv-show Project Catwalk) showed his new ready-to-wear FW/10 collection at the College Hotel in Amsterdam. The suites 108, 109 and 110 each had their own scene, with their own experience of fragrance, Music and visuals. By which the visitors were extra triggered for an ultimate experience of this new collection. And all of this was; in Jazz-style…

In Janice’s new collection a strong modern women stays central. By using lots of dark tones like black and blue, Janice shows femininity, with some tuff details.

The collection of Janice is available in luxury shops. By this he uses an interesting rule; from every piece of design there are only 100 available. Therefore  the clothing will stay exclusive!

Last Saturday, 28th November, I attended the 3th Face & Figure Model Convention in the World Fashion Centre, in Amsterdam. 300 contestants with model skills were selected by the scouts on a much frequented Model Convention. There was also a mini convention for the young ones from the age of 13.

Mariana Verkerk (also known as the catwalk coach of Benelux’ Next Top model) informed the contestants about modeling and she gave a short catwalk workshop to show everyone how to move on the catwalk. After the workshop the contestants had the chance to present their selves on the catwalk to a lot of national and international modeling agencies like Ford Models, Mega Models, TMF and Favourite Models. After presenting their selves on the catwalk, the models were standing in a row to show their portfolios to the representatives of all agencies. Read More
