2010 has been an interesting year in fashion for many reasons, but more specifically because it was a year of anything goes in regards to handbag design and trends.
While Celine made the square, simplistic, structured small shoulder bag popular, we also still saw a lot of studs; round, spiked and yes, even the pyramid made an appearance (can’t wait for that trend to be over), add to the list, fringed hobos and furry satchels. Gone are the days of the all encompassing “It” bag (although there are a few that stand out) as it’s been a challenge to really pinpoint the most popular trend.
