From synthetic material till luxury is just one stap, and Barbie-manufacturer Mattel just toke that one step and launching the most expensive Barbie Pool Deluxe ever.

Because of Australian Fashion Week and the launch of the Barbie basics, new collection for the dolls, the toy brand presented a Barbie the luxe from over the 500.000 dollar. It’s far beyond the most expensive Barbie ever is made. Other dolls from the deluxe version, such as the first Barbie has an estimated value of 8000 dollar. But that is nothing comparing with the Barbie that is decorated with De Beers diamonds for the 40th anniversary with an estimated value of 85.000 dollar. And than we have the Barbie with here diamond castle with a value of 95.00 dollar.

Lady Gaga is an inspiration for a lot of people even for Veik a 29 year old fan from Beijing how didn’t understand why there is still no limited edition Barbie of Lady Gaga. So he made his own from the most memorable outfits he made a Barbie outfit. We can say that Veik is very talented, he has all the details. It isn’t only the clothing but he also did the shoes, hair makeup etc.

Mattel needs to wake up, they have a lot of work to do. The designer has already revealed itself.

NY fashion week: Barbie runway show

Barbie at New York Fashion Week

Barbie will be 50 in March 2009. This auspicious event will be celebrated with a very own fashion collection developed by various famous fashion designers.

Outfits in the entire collection represent Barbie’s specific taste. Toy plant Mattel keeps the designers names secret. But Women’s Wear Daily revealed that Jeremy Scott and Vera Wang will work on the project. Diane Von Furstenberg, head of The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), also declared her cooperation. The collection will even be shown at New York fashion week!
