Mar. 10th 2010 by Mariana Davelaar (editor)

Friday Feburary 19th the aldermen Marieke Bolle and Henk Kaal from The Hague appoint fashiondesigner Michael Barnaart van Bergen fashion ambassador of The Hague.

In honour to his ambassadorship Barnaart van Bergen designed a “robe de la Résidente” as an ode to the royal residence. The unique aspect of this characteristic knitted dress is the fact that Barnaart used a old map of the city centre from The Hague as print.

The elegant knitwear dress will be available March 25th through the webshop from Michael Barnaart van Bergen www.boutiqueonline.nl and will exclusively been sold at Maison de Bonneterie in The Hague. The “Rode de la Résidente” comes in two colour combinations. Black-offwhite and darkblue-fuchsia. The exclusive dresses are a good match with the regular collection of the designer.
