Rihanna is no Girly Girl…

Dec. 7th 2010 by Mariana Davelaar (editor)

For Rihanna’s addictive “Only Girl (in the World)” video, she created a colorful, singular and sexy world that springs to life again in the newest issue of Interview.

On the fantastic cover made by Mikael Jansson, the Barbados-born pop star clutches a big bouquet of flowers while showing a dress and earrings by YSL, her bright-red hair in a mini beehive.

Baroque Queen.

Nov. 27th 2009 by Mariken Heijwegen (former Fesjon stylist)

Winter 2010/2011 everything is revolving around baroque, etnic, theatre for the complex free woman. We like to jump in old fashion archives and we found a photo of wedges from Miu Miu (2008).
Miu Miu has a foresight because we are going back to decadence and profusion.
Black lace, embroidered on clothes and eye make-up.
A wonderful prospect after all the leather and studs and the fact that everybody is looking like a “Sex Pistol” fan.
We like Ann Demeulenmeester as well, she knows like no other how to combine natural materials with a robust look.
So girls… I wish it was winter 2010/2011…!
