Last week on Thursday April 22 there was a new edition of the Luxury Fair. The Westelijk Handels Terrein in Rotterdam, in the wellknown Scheepvaartkwartier, was transformed into a Fashion & Business event. A unique moment and combination of fashion and networking. When we arrived we enjoyed our welcome cocktail and walked through to see the location.

We also could meet Tamara Elbaz (Organizer) and Addy van den Krommenacker backstage. The most people/ visitors came to see the fashion show of designer Addy van den Krommenacker. A beautiful fashion show with ofcourse the outstanding designs. Everyone was enthusiastic. Fabienne de Vries hosted the show.

Silk Fashion & Business event is a lifestyle event wich is represented by the organisations of the highest Luxury segment.

Tamara Elbaz (CEO Silk PR & Events) said:” with more than 2000 visitors it was definitely a succesful event”!

Coccinelle Fashion Stores is a chain for the fashionable kids among us with labels like Armani, MonnaLisa, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry and D&G. Right now there are six branches in The Netherlands and since 2007 Coccinelle also has a webshop where you can buy baby- and kidsclothing day and night.

This Sunday april 11th there will be a catwalkshow taking place in Plaza Rotterdam, initiated by Coccinelle. The mall will be transformed into a true fashion spectacle full of inspiration and dynamism, where parents and children can enjoy the fashion show alongside many other activities (like a performance from the Guess Streetdance Team).

Since this successfully returning kidsshow continues to distinguish itself and Coccinelle will once again drop a spectacular show, it’s right that owner Mr. Pierro Iacomoni and designer Mrs. Bertocci from MonnaLisa will fly especially from Italy for this event. There are also many important agencies (from for example Diesel, Burberry and Armani) who would not want to miss this event.

Following weekend there is just like in Amsterdam a Christmas market a la fashion and art in Rotterdam. Everything is made by enthusiastic young creative’s. Designer Claudia Soria shall sell tuff shirts and unique dresses. Nina Cadou and Flying Colours shall sell their artwork. Furthermore there are original accessories and gadgets to find. For the sphere bands will play like the British rock band The small Time Crooks.

For this original Christmas market you must go to Club Punnik, Bar dancing de Camping (next to Tiki) on December 13th and 14th from 12 till 18 o’clock.
