The world beneath your feet…

Nov. 19th 2009 by Amy Simpe (former Fesjon author)

tab It was as if they could put ‘their arms’ around my feet and warm up my heart, fill my stomach up with food or make me forget about hunger. Emptying up my bankaccount wouldn’t help one bit. I can’t afford them, not even if I used every penny I own ,and go without food for a while. They cost more than 500 dollars, often more than a thousand. That’s way above what I’m willing to pay for shoes. Tabitha’s shoes are beautiful, refined. They seem to look at life as I do. As if their place in my life has been predestined. I can feel them already, hanging on my feet. They weren’t born in lonesome factory halls, but woven together in the sun at a working place of an Italian family company.

Koos & Tante Tini

Oct. 24th 2009 by Karlijn de Vries (former author)

Shoes without any extras. That’s what the shoes from ‘Koos’ are all about. You expect a total Dutch concept, but that’s not totally true. It’s a commitment between Dutch designer Nynke Fennema and a designer from Japan, Shinichi Kato.Koos

In Japan it’s a huge hit and even here it’s getting more and more a trend. The keywords of Koos are; casual, elegant and comfortable. They’re certaintly easygoing shoes, because you can’t find any high heels in the whole line.

During the last few production years they kept all the little pieces of leather, because it was a pity to throw it away. Then the idea came for a shoeline for children. ‘Tante Tini’ came up, which is totally Dutch.

Koos & Tante Tini

‘Koos & Tante Tini’ is a shop full of exquisite shoes which are just a little bit different then normal. And that’s exactly why it’s worth to give it a visit.

Beside shoes, you can also find some handmade bags.

Develab

Did you always dream about designing your own shoe? It can be better!
The shoelabel Develab is organising a contest where there will be a chance that your design will be in the stores.
How? It’s very simple. Take a(n) (old) shoe out from your closet and spray all your creativity on it. When you’re done make a picture and you just send it to Develab. Besides that you’re in the running for one of the 25 customized waveboards, there’s also a stylingteam who is giving their judgement. Eventually they’re looking for what they can use in their new collections.

Surf to the website below and maybe this will be your first step to the land of designers.

Summerscuffing?

Apr. 8th 2009 by Karlijn de Vries (former author)

Ugg Classic Tall We’re walking around for years now on those scuffy boots. Yes, Uggs. And there’s a reason why we’re fond of them for such a long time. They’re comfortable, nice warm and they, especially thought by women, look very cute.
But the summer is coming. And then it’s very nice to give your little feet some fresh air, so the Uggs have to go off.
