UGG® Australia announces its first capsule collection to debut in Fall 2011. Called “UGG COLLECTION,” it represents the brand’s first foray into high fashion footwear and handbags, all handcrafted in Italy.
The UGG COLLECTION is inspired by the rustic luxury of Italy and pays homage to the centuries-long history of fine craftsmanship and superior materials for which the region is known. By insiders we heard that Jimmy CHoo and Ugg will put there strengths together this year in a one time partnership partnership this year.
We are wondering what to imagine, will it be like a “sashimi” for shoes. A little bit of an suede bootie of sheepskin with studs, and high heels. Probably named as “Jimmy UGG”
What would that be? “mmmm-delicious” or ‘never minded crap” We don’t know yet. We have to be patient until October 2010! There will be an limited collection of 5 different ones with a pricerange between $595 and $795!
Until then.. we can only dream of Jimmy UGG……

Some people think they’re totally awesome, others think there couldn’t be anything uglier. The Ugg was introduced to the Dutch public three years ago. Since then, it seems like everyone owns a pair. Even men and children have fallen victim to this trend. A trend that some feel, has been going on too long. Even so, the Uggs have become world wide consumers favorite.

As Fesjon previously announced, this week was the moment of truth: the first flagship store in Europe opened its door on the 39 Long Acre in London. The collection in the new store consisted of shoes, outdoor clothing, bags and accessories.

Next summer a new trend will emerge, called Hazel. They’re suede-cork UGG wedge heel shoes, that will be available in an assortment of colors like: violet, dark brown, black and tan. According to experts, they walk comfortably because of the bed of natural sheepskin in the sole.

Producten van Ugg zijn al geruime tijd zeer populair in diverse Europese landen, en ook in Nederland wordt het merk volop verkocht. Tot nu toe ontbrak het in Europa echter aan een brandstore, zoals die onder andere in New York te vinden zijn. Daar komt nu verandering in.

Onlangs opende in Londen namelijk de eerste winkel van Ugg buiten de Verenigde Staten of moederland Australië. In de Britse winkel is het gehele assortiment van Ugg verkrijgbaar, variërend van schoenen, laarzen, jassen tot zelfs handschoenen. Ook heeft de winkel een omvangrijke collectie aan kidswear.
